2 1/2 men is ungodly filth says one of the show's actors

Angus T. Jones is pleading with his fans to STOP watching "Two and a Half Men" ... claiming it's nothing but "filth" that contradicts his deep Christian values.

19-year-old Jones -- who makes $350k AN EPISODE playing Jake on the show -- is featured in a new video for the Forerunner Christian Church ... in which he talks about his commitment to his faith and explains, "If you watch Two and a Half Men, please stop watching Two and a Half Men."

"I'm on Two and a Half Men and I don't want to be on it."

"Please stop watching it and filling your head with filth. People say it’s just entertainment. Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you’ll have a decision to make when it comes to television, especially with what you watch."

He continues, "If I am doing any harm, I don't want to be here. I don't want to be contributing to the enemy's plan ... You cannot be a true God-fearing person and be on a television show like that. I know I can't. I'm not OK with what I'm learning, what the bible says and being on that television show."

Think of all the people who could use that amount of money ONCE, not every single time they made a t.v. episode. That amount of money is life-changing for people.

Is there something in the water on that set? Does it turn them all into crazy people?

Jesus would be fine with the show and would advise young Angus to use his money to help the poor. Too bad more Christians don't actually read the bible. They'd also know that Jesus taught non-judgment and he lived non-judgement. He wouldn't judge the show to be good or bad...nor would he judge those who enjoyed the show.

actually did use some of his money to help the poor. It would do more for Christianity than any door-knocking, street-corner-leafleting nutcase could ever do. His fans would go to church. They would help the poor, too.

He should do that, and encourage others to do the same, as they are able.

they see on television. I've never wanted to shoot alligators in a swamp but I've seen the show. I don't think Steven King has ever murdered anyone yet he writes about. Telling people to not watch television is just as much 'mind control' as watching television.
This actor is obviously a bigot in the making and he's making excuses for what he does. If he really thought what he does was sending people to Hell he would quit the show.

If Angus Jones really feels that way, he should quit. I have no idea what kind of a contract he might have, but surely he has an agent who can get him out of it.

Plus, in the current season he is in the army, and he has about 30 seconds of air time in each episode any more. Maybe he's bothered that he's not on screen more.
