More important than the Trump Trial, the jury system itself is on trial.

Justice and the jury system is a cornerstone of our democracy. It cannot be destroyed without destroying our system of government.

It is time for folks to open their eyes and see what is at stake?

The twice-impeached, four-times indicted, former president is nothing more than a citizen. Calling him a "citizen" is actually being charitable. Average "citizens" cannot get away with what this criminal has already done to our justice system.

Lest we forget, he is out of jail on bond. Rather than discuss the merits of a gag order, or not, he should be made to adhere to the conditions of his bail bond. It does not permit him to threaten or incite violence against anyone, not even members of the court. His "free speech" rights give him the freedom to "criticize", but criticism is not to be confused with violent threats.

The justice system must defend itself at this time. Mr Trump has just about run out of "stern warnings". It is time to act.

A weekend in jail would not only be appropriate for Mr Trump, but it would do a world of good for his supporters, also, to see him behind bars.

Our legal system has bent over backwards to appear fair to this guy, but he just keeps pushing. He needs to be brought to account. Our bedrock, legal institutions, like anything conceived in the minds of humans, are sometimes flawed, but it's the best system anyone has come up with to date. It needs to be protected at all costs.

In my opinion, holding him accountable would be the best thing that could happen to his cult of followers.

Robert Mueller teed up "individual one" for Merrick Garland" and he punted.

Alvin Bragg took the prosecution in the state of New York yet the trial would have made more sense were it prosecuted at the federal level.

How damn many times did I post, Time Matters?

But the situation is getting critical.

The April 15th trial must go forward.

that April 15th trial could have been finished by now had Merrick Garland indicted Trump in the spring of 2021.

Imagine the scenario with a convicted Trump had Garland acted. Would we be in the position we find ourselves today?

How many unindicted Trump co-conspirators are there out there just waiting for someone to indict them?

AG Dana Nessel is going after fake electors in Michigan, she sent a criminal referral to DOJ and Garland did nothing.

Garland doesn't have to wait for Smith to prosecute criminals.
