even before he's locked up, he knows what's coming and is very afraid.
He's probably praying every night begging for help and now he's selling Bibles.
To late conman, justice is coming at you like an out of control freight train.

(11,766 posts)I would not even dignify him with the idea of "jailhouse religion". A lot of people who commit crimes often use their time in custody to reflect on their actions, and they actually make changes.
Trump is so damaged and has never been held to any real account for his crimes. I do not believe he is capable of changing. I do not believe he prays (unless to himself). In my opinion, he is wallowing in impotent rage and self pity.
The Bibles are just the latest grift. All for show and for the purpose of taking even more money from ignorant and bigoted fools. The Bible represent to Trump what everything else (including family) represents, just another "angle" another transaction which he can use to his advantage.
I find minor comfort and pleasure in thinking (not without reason) that the inside of Trump's mind is a very scary and unpleasant place for him right now.

(88,058 posts)He is so self absorbed that there wouldn't be any way to contain him other than a padded cell. If he ever has to spend more than two hours in a cell, he'll be screaming his head off, endlessly, like some child who is melting down with no possibility for consolation. He'd be flinging shit at the walls after 48 hours.
I don't think that he would be able to process the situation. I have been inside a jail cell (not because of a crime) and when those doors clank behind you, it gets REAL, and like I said, I wasn't even there involuntarily.
