WASHINGTON Just now, Arizona Democratic Senator Eva Burch announced her plans to utilize reproductive care on the Arizona Senate floor.
Citing her heartbreaking story of her pregnancy becoming unviable, Senator Burch said the following during her floor speech:
Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee National Press Secretary Sam Paisley issued the following statement:
Arizona Senator Eva Burch sharing her decision to get an abortion is the epitome of courage. No woman should have to go through the emotional and physical hurdles she described Arizona Republicans have passed unnecessary burdens on abortion care that put women in danger. Senator Burchs story is powerful, but it is sadly not unique patients across Arizona have to jump through hoops to get the care they need. There are very real, and sometimes even deadly, consequences to the attacks on reproductive freedom that Republicans across the country have launched. The DLCC commends Senator Burch for her advocacy and stands ready to defeat alarming GOP extremism in state legislatures in Arizona and across the country.

(52,043 posts)Men do need to be educated about the situation but still leave the decision to the woman if they are husband or boyfriend. They should provide the support. And more than likely they do except some of the boyfriends or those trying to control women.
