(11,396 posts)rather than your original point - which was "hold accountable"
Are you perhaps after something like the way that the House is currently holding Hunter and Joe 'accountable'? Can't really say I'm on board with that, friend! NOR - do I see the silly posturing as lending itself to, or accomplishing - anything like 'accountable'.

(1,866 posts)Any attempt would be immediately derailed, led by the maggot militia and followed by every single rethug. Seriously, when was the last time democrats had a real majority in either chamber? If youve got a majority with shits like Manchin or Synema on your team, you dont have a real majority.

(11,396 posts)And while at it - try keeping in mind that a majority of Republicans still think that the election was stolen.
(which means, not particularly strong allies in the "sufficient urgency" or "hold accountable" departments)

(39,389 posts)Or if that seems too premature in June of 21 once he (rightly) decided for the DOJ to defend Trump in a defamation lawsuit against E. Jean Carroll. The excuse being he couldn't defend and prosecute the same person.
Jack Smith was appointed in late Nov. of 2022.
