I have been aware for some time how bad it was going to get.
So I have done my grieving about the possible losses to our country.
Now I am just going with the flow.

I suppose in a democracy, people have a right to vote out democracy and vote in fascist rule.

If the American people are so ignorant and amoral to adore a ruthless criminal sociopath,
then it is not about Trump. It is about the American people.
Who are letting down themselves and their country.

I will still fight and speak out.

But most of us stood up when we were young and fought for the rights now being taken away.
So we pass the torch to the young people and hope they can fight the good fights.

Fighting the good fight against evil is the iconic human condition.
I guess things will not change, but each generation has to renew the fight.

We had a period of relative peace after WWII. But now the evil clouds are gathering again.

We don't yet know how this story will end.
But I am banking on goodness giving evil one hell of a fight.

So fight the good fight, but accept that events will unfold they way they will.

I will also add that if Trump is installed again, Americans are going to have some very teachable moments
and a steep learning curve. Some people have to learn things the hard way for it to sink it.
So all will not be lost. We will be there to help them learn what they need to learn.
