Excellent editorial on Republican lies

"Americans can take stand for truth by voting out liars in elected office
Sat, Feb 17, 2024 (2 a.m.)

Another day, another bombshell claim shown to be little more than a brazen lie thrust upon the American people by a political party without decency, integrity or honor.

On Thursday, FBI informant Alexander Smirnov was charged with fabricating a story that President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter, sought $5 million in bribes from a Ukrainian energy company. The 37-page indictment also indicates that Smirnov was motivated by politics and a desire to undercut Biden’s electability...."

Yesterday someone posted that even on MSNBC as they reported the Smirnov story talking about lies & bribes they showed photos of Joe & Hunter & none of Smirnov—subliminal messaging that the Bidens are unethical. MSNBC only exists cuz there's a market for it but the hosts are limited in how far they can take their views. The obviously left-leaning & outspoken ones are always at risk. Also, they don't even try to fill their daytime schedule with left-leaning voices.

They love Trump. Even as he says he will be a dictator & go on a revenge tour & has named journalists/networks he would get rid of, they will promote him any way they can for ratings ($$$) today, who cares the risk tomorrow. It's disgusting & derelict.

MSNBC is owned by Comcast a giant media conglomerate that owns a ton of other major media companies. To Comcast, MSNBC is a vehicle to provide some information to more left leaning people, but ultimately, it is about the money. The revenue it can generate from its shows still flows into coffers that fund anti-Union action, lobbying, and payments to Conservative causes.
