I've been thinking just this....

(96,267 posts)It's one or a collection of those suggested, they will foot the bill for him. You'll be able to tell when he doesn't sell off his holdings to put up the bond(s) for appeal.
We'll see soon enough. The overseer of his affairs will know.

(67,214 posts)But yes Trump is vulnerable to a great deal more corruption now.
Of course he will take money from our enemies.

(39,531 posts)There’s no guarantee whatsoever that he’ll be able to deliver the goods on any such deal. These people like Putin and musk might be evil and corrupt, but they want something for their money. They’re as tuned into how demented and crazy he is as we are.

(27,397 posts)why wouldn't people take a chance and invest in that? Saudi Arabia has money to burn.

(27,397 posts)sold them military equipment, ratted out the dissenters to Prince Bone Saw, well worth 2 billion dollars.
Trump just needs to be careful how he launders the money, having Prince Bone saw overpay for one of his golf courses could lose him some votes.

(27,397 posts)Wasn't it Kushner who fast tracked that sale? Wasn't Kushner later rewarded?

(33,424 posts)The U.S. supplied Saudis with Obama, Biden, Bush, Clinton, etc. I am not sure what the point is?

(27,397 posts)Jared Kushner brokered the 110 billion dollar deal and was later rewarded.
Also I don't subscribe to the narrative that both parties are the same, especially with the fall of the Republican party.

(33,424 posts)But when it comes to the Saudis no one has ever been able to show me the difference.

(27,397 posts)and that's just what we know of. Why wouldn't they invest once again in Trump. Helping him appeal his court losses is helping him become president, he will have more money for his campaign. It is really pretty logical for someone to invest in him.

(54,997 posts)Probably worse.
To ignore Putin as an issue in tsf's campaign is to whistle past the graveyard, and we really can't afford that kind of head-in-the-sand denial right now.

(27,397 posts)with AI and with Musk in control of Twitter. We will need 100 marc Elias'.
People are talking about Lara Trump running the RNC but her co-chair Whatley is a lawyer who ran the RNC in N. Carolina. Whatley bragged that he spent 75% of RNC money on legal fees filing lawsuits and he stated as head of the RNC he wants to file lawsuits across the country.
With people so gullible, I worry, they still can't tell the difference between a fence and a wall.

(39,531 posts)which people seem to be oblivious to, namely the magnitude of the amount of the money to bail him out. Please do tell me about that last bribe, the $2 billion, that escaped scrutiny: not.
Did you read the article on the overseer of the Trump business entities in NY? Yeah she sounds like a real sucker who will let this stuff fly by.
And I laugh every time I hear anyone say Trump is the frontrunner for the republican nomination. He's the frontrunner of a train wreck. Now just in case you didn't read it, there's an article on the brain drain in the republican party. And never mind there is so much chaos that they can't pay their rent on several buildings where they rent, that they have two leaders in one state, and I could go on and on but I need another cup of tea.
I suggest the kneejerk doomsayers get caught up on their reading.
