Why doesn't anyone ever mention the fact that Trump is *out on bail*?

Because he is! He's out on bail in the GA case - IIRC he posted $200K as bail. Maybe it should be brought up more often that the leading GOP candidate for president is out on bail as he campaigns.

Emphasis on "relatively", but that's probably the reason. I doubt it's an intentional omission by the media; I think it's just a bit of an afterthought compared to his claims of total immunity, the 91 indictments, ongoing trials and civil cases, an $83 million award, and a potential $400 million penalty to his org.

It is, on its own, pretty extraordinary, of course, but I think it's just getting buried by everything else. It got a lot of press when it happened, of course.

The supposed law and order party needs more bad things said about him to undermine their support. Using the phrases “indicted” and “out on bail” might sway a few % more away from him.

I think nothing is going to persuade them not to support him. The support of his base has been stable since 2015. Nothing he has ever done has put a dent in that support, and referring to him as out on bail isn't going to move the needle.

If being found liable for rape and defamation, facing 91 indictments in four jurisdictions, and facing years in prison aren't enough to sway them, just saying he's out on bail on one of those cases certainly won't.

My point is that just pointing he's out on bail in one trial is less effective than noting everything combined, including the fact that there are three others.

Trump, currently facing 91 criminal charges in four jurisdictions and with his organization facing $375 million in penalties...

vs.

Trump, currently out on bail...

"Out on bail" is relatively meaningless compared to the big picture.

Don't want to miss out a mention in the will, seeing he said many times how filthy rich he is.

But what makes people excuse a sad sack demented and insane ex-president?
What is the possible payback there?
Why the current and ongoing blindness to who he is, the continual sucking up?

Boggles the mind! Mine is severely boggled, has been for a few years now.

it's super weird to have a former president who is running again and is the likely candidate of one of the two major parties who is out on bail, having been charged with multiple felonies. Everybody knows being out of jail pending trial doesn't mean guilt in any case, but when have we ever have a presidential candidate who was in such deep legal shit that he had to put up $200K in bail money in order to go out and hold campaign rallies?
