for being so absent in my presence on DU in the last year. A year ago I had brain surgery and tomorrow morning I will have a very intrusive procedure to make sure cancer isnt my culprit.
Last September 3 days before the remembrance of my husbands tenth year death and 5 days before my birthday I took a nasty fall and broke my right proximal humerus bone.
I was doing therapy right up until just before Christmas for that arm but on December 24th fell again and had to have my right wrist casted because of a severe break and also found out that the first upper arm break had never healed.
January 13 I underwent another surgery this time for my original upper right arm break. I have bone therapy up the ying Yang now and my friend is typing this all for me. I apologize for not being able to respond repeatedly to all the wonderful essence you all have provided me. I adore and so respect all of you, both your logic and heart. I 🥰

There are a lot of reasons folks don't show up here for extended periods. Number one is that they have lives they must attend to. So please. Just concentrate on yours. Peace and love to you.

Have you had your living situation safety checked for falling?

You can find more of those with Google:

Maybe your friend could help you with that after your procedure.
Take care. All the best.

(5,814 posts)I first learned about Dr. Fulford through Dr. Andrew Weil, the famous integrative medicine doctor. In this book, Dr. Fulford talks about "anniversaries of pain," life events that subconsciously traumatize us and leave us susceptible to illness and injury. We need to be especially careful at these times to protect ourselves and our health. The tenth anniversary of your husband's death, and that he died within five days of your birthday, certainly qualifies as one of these anniversaries. This book has been very important to me!
