I mean, it was like HE was President, demanding that upstart nobody Obama acquiesce to his demands, appearing in the "liberally-biased media" every day ...

He knows that he will still get to appear as if HE is offering a solution, and OBAMA is driving the car off the cliff ...

He's got a majority, ran unopposed, and has to deal with cantor and ryan, and teabuggers. It really still is up to We the People, with PrezO's help on the road, to show that their b.s. should not continue. We've got to get a majority in the House.

You don't start with what you expect to get, there's not much downside to going overboard on demands, at least not for Republicans, when Democrats do it then a stiff round of fainting couches and smelling salts all around is called for.
