Love that Haley beat Trump at his own game

Even if she did it in a less dishonest way. Jumping on the air early with her victory/concession speech won her the maximum eyeballs in the best possible light, allowing her to frame the results as a win, early in the night while the public was still paying attention. That's Tramp's game plan for elections, and she shoved it in his face.

No concession, no dispirited message to the troops. Just the opposite. You know that must have burned Trump who expects everyone to bend the knee. Haley denied him the thing he wanted most: his official canonization as the Republican nominee so the money spigots could flow wide open and he could once again proclaim himself a victim of the justice system deliberately standing in his way to a November victory.

Lots of ketchup bottles died last night!

Have to keep campaigning and spending money he wants to use elsewhere on personal shit. She's not handing it to him and he's furious that she is not acquiescing to him. That really upsets him. Bet he's blasting through a ton of depends.

for Trump but as with Liz Cheney, she should take a bow and keep going after him. Even if she has little to no chance (sans a full Trump self-immolation), she does a service calling him out. And yes, I am aware/concerned that Fox and other RWers will use her call-out of Trump's clear dementia symptoms to do a "both sides" attack on Biden, that is just something we are going to have to deal with. Any discerning adult should be able to see the differences.

Maybe originally she thought The Groper would choose her as VP pick, but then it became clear he'd never do that

So now, could part of the reason she fights on, is on the outside chance that his legals problems, or health issues, might force him to terminate his run...

And she'd be the nominee by default.

out of the race. But, yeah... If she has the $$$ (and I'm not sure donors will be too patient), why not?

I get why the WH and most of us want Biden to run against Trump; but I likewise feel as though there is tremendous risk in that--a bit like all of us hoping the blade in the giant overhead guillotine--hovering over all of us-- does not fall.

TFG gets more and more unstable. By the time the primaries roll around, she may be the only R left standing. No matter how I look at the 2024 race, I'm scared.

At this point, as these primaries give us a little more insight into what republican voters really think (not much), Haley could give President Biden a lot more trouble than Trump. And if you think Haley, or any other repuke for that matter, won't do exactly the same thing as Trump you're wrong. In general the repukes are going forward with their fascist agenda no matter who wins their race. Their base is tolerant of it now. Also Haley would strengthen down ticket races by being displayed as a more "traditional" (she's far right of "traditional) repuke.
I believe our President has a much better chance against RICO than Haley.
