how mind numbingly boring and uncompetitive this primary race has been. It's the first thing of any consequence to happen in months. It's still not consequential. No matter how much lipstick they try to put on this pig, the winner always was and is going to be Cheato.
Boring, dangerous, stupid, predictable. Rinse, lather, repeat.

(101,105 posts)But I do get the feeling that something just doesn't pass the smell test. It's like the fuckheads that be want America to be in chaos forever and that we'll never have a functioning government ever again, because the billionaires and the Saudi oligarchs don't want that, it's bad for business.

(96,882 posts)How do you presume the primaries were inconsistent with the actual sentiments of Republican voters?

(52,481 posts)NV and CA for example changed the rules to help Trump. That said, he is likely the choice of GOP voters.

(101,105 posts)What I'm saying is that I feel like this race was already called a long time ago for Fuckface and they were just trotting out other nominees to make it look like it wasn't. Maybe I'm just being too paranoid here.

(101,105 posts)The GOP is now the party of Trump and Fox no matter how much they try to distance themselves from it.

(27,057 posts)Trump has sucked the life out of the Elephants carcass. Without the Main Attraction, what's the GOP's 2nd act, or upcoming star? There really isn't any.

(4,423 posts)Yeah, hes not going to come back quietly. Hell be angry and looking for someone to take those feelings out on. We need to buckle up and hunker down. Damn, this year just keeps getting better and better, or is that worser and morser. And here I thought my retirement to Florida would be pleasant and restful. Silly me.

(19,526 posts)Sorry to all the good FLA Dems. Enjoy your retirement!

(2,061 posts)that the Republicans are more coordinated this time around. At this point, Haley is the only hold out, but appears that is going nowhere fast. For the most part, they also have avoided getting really nasty with Trump through the process.
At this point, I don't think there is much doubt in reality land regarding who the Republican nominee is going to be.
Let's face it, Trump slobbed on a porn star and paid her hush money, and not even that turned MAGA away from him. None of this other stuff is going to do it either.
We really need to focus the energy on Biden accomplishments at this point and stop dreaming of a prosecution to save us. Calling him slobfather and orange menace isn't doing much for our cause, nor is the ballot exclusion movement. Joe Biden needs to be on TV every single night in the upcoming season selling his list of accomplishments, and we need to be rallying behind that very loudly.
