The Problem Is FOXNEWS

Someone forgot to drive the wooden stake thru their heart. The $780,000,000 dollars fine did not seem to get their attention. They were guilty of spreading lies and propaganda.

Last night, they held their live "lovefest" with Trump, just as the debate in Iowa between the other Republicans, was going on. Scarborough, on MSNBC, referred to it as soft "T-ball" questions.

They continue to pretend that January 6th did not happen. They have no obligation to tell their viewers about what happened. They have no obligation to tell their viewers about the many crimes that Donald Trump is charged with, including attempting to over-turn a fair election and to install a wannabe "dictator" back into the White House. They continue to lie to the American people.

Their First Amendment rights do not give them the right to betray this country with their lies and propaganda, especially when we see consequences such as those on January 6th, 2021.

The America-hating Murdoch family has learned nothing from their last run-in with the law. They are back to their old ways, only worse.

They now have even more conservative TV competition and then the streaming people seem to be able to say whatever batshit thing they want. They can't quite Trump for fear of losing the cult.

Why normal people watch that channel? That I don't get. I blacked it out. Can't even accidentally land on it.

5. The problem is the people who like and watch Faux News.

Faux's target market is the millions of mean, dumb people who walk among us. They lost the Dominion lawsuit because they knew that market wanted more lies about the election, so that's what they offered. Chickens or eggs? Does watching Faux make people mean and stupid, or do mean and stupid people keep Faux going because that's what they want to see?

I remember after Trump lost the election and Fox actually was reporting so, they were losing lots of their audience to even further right wing sources. Hell, I know some people who STILL haven't gone back to Fox because it's "too mainstream media" now. Fact is, they are pandering to their audience as much as, if not more than, telling them what to think.

10. FOX isn't an observer, it's not a cheerleader, it's actually the instigator

FOX News has been at the leading edge of the coup since 2016. Remember, even back then, Trump would not say that he would concede if Hillary beat him. It was his intention then and it's still his intention to seize control of the government on behalf of his benefactors. Thing is, the right wing media doesn't just stand on the sidelines reporting gibberish, it actually drives the agenda...INCLUDING what's happening in Washington. Every single GOP politician is a cog in their system. Their wretched cesspool of a political party is doing the bidding of the oligarchs through the tentacles of their media.

11. No, it's not Faux

That's a symptom.

These people existed before Fox. Rush Limbaugh was spewing right wing lies before Fox. So were the Birchers. And the Klan. And the Confederates. And so on.

And yet they all share the same core beliefs that MAGAts have, and that Fox promotes.

I'm not saying that Fox has zero blame for the vile behavior of MAGAts, or the kinds of behavior they rile up, only that they tapped into a market that had always been there in the first place.

It behooves us to know what the real problem is, and it starts with a big heaping helping of willful stupid.
