Times of Israel: Gantz swipes at Netanyahu

From the article:

"War cabinet minister Benny Gantz appeared to criticize Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday night, calling out those who harm Israel’s ties with the Biden administration by engaging in “manufactured disputes” amid the war against Hamas.

“Hamas is part of the Iranian axis that wants to destroy us and stop normalization. We must make the opposite happen: remove the threat of Hamas, strengthen the relationship with the moderate Arab countries and build a different regional reality that will also include a framework for a solution in Gaza.”

Acknowledging that in the short term, Israel will retain security control in Gaza, Gantz added that “in the civil aspect, it would be correct to find local entities that would take care of sewage, medicine and civil issues.”

This would be done, he said, “with the support of an administration that would consist of mostly moderate Arab countries,” which would work with Israel to start the normalization poprocess and “the process of changing the reality in Gaza in the long term.”"

1. Like I said before

it's going to be "we will select some people acceptable to us to be your new leaders and run your lives at the point of our gun barrels". The subject of any self determination is not even in the cards as stated by the Israeli Ambassador. Also as I said before the world will do nothing to actually halt Jerusalem implementing the de facto annexation in combination with elimination and expulsion aka ethnic cleansing like was done before.

These are only controversial conclusions to those who would deny that it was what happened before. The world did nothing, largely due to obstruction by the US, and here we are and what worked to the advantage of one side is being used again. It is hardly a surprise or controversial take. The US has long commandeered the ability of the UN to resolve literally anything in this matter on literally any issue. The US has consistently said to the rest of the world for decades "No, no you don't have to be involved because we will be the mediator in the peace process and we'll get this done. So you all just stand back." Well it hasn't come to squat and meanwhile the territory/annexation by Israel has grown and grown.

I said before the entire conduct and process by all sides since Balfour has been about their own self interests first and the average Palestinian last. That population has been fodder for the British, Arab States, America, Russia and Israel as well as various non-state groups. Their hand-wringing over dead children on 10/7 or today in Gaza is enough to make me vomit. What happened to those kids happened with the guns and bombs all of you pumped in all these years and tons of mendacity, phony intent etc. and there will never be enough soap in the world to wash the stink off the ones I named.

Every one of them should STFU because nobody believes their BS anymore about how they're going to do something. What would realistically shake things a little is if countries who are members of the UN would get together and explain to the body that if they do not immediately step in they are going to withdraw their membership and they will review and suspend treaties with the remaining UN members. Maybe it would get some attention if about 90 countries got together and called BS on continuing to be a part of this charade.

Yes I know it won't happen but continuing on decade after decade as these millions of people are served up as fodder to be used by this or that country or group is depraved and leaves those leaders/groups with the mask of the macabre morphed into their very selves.

Now see the consequences of that brilliant decision.
For decades now the Palestinians have been led by incompetent, wildly corrupt clowns.
