Politico: Trump's 'dictator' remark puts 2024 campaign right where Biden wants it

Donald Trump keeps returning the 2024 presidential race to the ground where Joe Biden wants to fight it.

After Trump told a Fox News town hall he would not be a dictator upon returning to office “other than Day One,” the Biden campaign pounced. It highlighted Trump’s remarks as another moment in which the GOP frontrunner showcased his undemocratic and dangerous plans for a possible second term.

Biden has expressed his fear to confidants that Trump would have unchecked power if he were to return to office, according to three people granted anonymity to speak about private discussions. Trump would likely have at least one Republican-controlled chamber in Congress, a conservative Supreme Court, the allegiance of true-believer staff members and GOP state officials — and the knowledge he could be impeached twice and charged criminally in four jurisdictions and still claim power. He’d view that as a mandate, Biden has said privately, and abuse power at home and change how America is viewed abroad.

All three people said the stakes have escalated in the president’s mind as he’s watched the Republican Party remain in Trump’s thrall despite Jan. 6 and the revelations about what his predecessor has in store for the future.

"Maybe we should live under a dictatorship, I mean, how bad could it be? WE need a Strongman like Trump to keep us safe from all the terrorists in the world"

so HOW DO YOU deal with an AMERICAN who prefers to live under a dictatorship?? He has no fucking clue what could happen, he could be at the wrong end of a firing squad which TRUMP promised to have in his new administration.

YOU would think most AMERICANS had family who were in WORLD WAR II and fought against a similar dictatorship, and a rotten way of life, so how can SOME AMERICANS EMBRACE IT??? WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THEM>????

How we should be like Dubai. Apparently, she went to Dubai, was told there was no crime, and decided we should be like Dubai, and do whatever it takes. Dubai's criminal code is allegedly modeled after Sharia law, and she said she was fine with that.

CA identified and targeted the minority of the American population subject to narcissism, Machiavellianism, and psychopathy, leading these folks to be especially prone to antisocial and criminal behavior. With appropriate communications targeted at these susceptible folks on Facebook, it proved easy to generate self-sustaining conspiracy-minded groups who could readily have led to the very disturbing abject stupidity and open-ness to right-wing propaganda that we find rampant today.

What truly frightens me, is that there are too many people rooting for chaos. Brexit, 2016, and the rise of populism worldwide. People who wont give a shit until it's too late. I don't think think his supporters give two shits what he says anymore.
