(82,849 posts)The media eagerly jump on any Democratic action as inimical to national security, but for some reason Sen. Tuberville's grandstanding hasn't drawn nearly the public approbation it should. The coverage (what little there has been) all focuses on Tommy's love for the unborn babies and the oh-my-stars scandal of the military paying transportation costs for its personnel to get health care services.

Tuberville told reporters in the Capitol on Tuesday that he will drop the hold on all promotions except those for Four Star generals. Tuberville has been blocking promotions since February creating a backlog that has grown to more than 350.
