Here's a sample.. of Hamas Apologists..
They better not ask for more proof, its costing a lot to make all of this
Are you sure that's not the tunnel beneath Al-Shifa that you built yourself
This has to be a Parody account.
Dear IDF, you lost all credibility, keep screaming.
Above us is a hospital.
*doesnt show the hospital above*
I just love how that guy in the video looks exhausted of lying

(41,046 posts)The man in the video is Real Admiral Daniel Hagari. I think he looks exhausted because he is in the middle of a war and an IDF spokesperson who probably is sleeping 3 hours a day. But hey, that's just my opinion!
Thanks for sharing.

(6,846 posts)This is no different than a subway line in New York or London. Theyve got bathrooms, theyve got communication systems just like in this video.
Sheesh
just a way for hard working Gaza folks to get around town faster, especially silly at rush hour.
Move along

(105,009 posts)I'd never seen video or even pictures.
So, it appears they are concrete-poured with extensive measures to address power, water, and ventilation capabilities. I'd assumed the soil in Gaza was sandy and that they would have to be either tunneled through bedrock or as it appears, poured concrete. Major cost and man-hours to produce this network over the years.
Still, it is a bit more comforting to me to think the hostages may be being held in unpleasant, but at least tolerable reinforced tunnel conditions like this, rather than dirt-dug-out death traps. I know this is not the point IDF is trying to make in posting this video, but nonetheless... There is some hope we will get more back alive.

(5,394 posts)us can agree there are people out there who are. I just have been lucky to be able to avoid by not going on Twitter to read them.

(5,691 posts)But I'm of the opinion that to condemn Israeli actions to destroy Hamas is pretty damn close to supporting Hamas.
But I repeat, that's just me.

(4,458 posts)But I'd say condemning Israel for killing thousands of innocent children is not the same, not even close, as supporting Hamas.

(5,394 posts)could destroy Hamas is a bad move is most definitely not supporting Hamas. There are far too many Israeli citizens who are saying that and even some with families who are saying that and I can guarantee you they are not supporting Hamas. For me, a Jew with family killed when they were fighting in the French resistence and with family living in Tel Aviv now - I condemn Israelis bombing of Gaza and wish with all my heart that Hamas could be destroyed. I don't see it happening as for every Hamas who is killed, Israel is creating more - they may call themselves something other than Hamas - but this destruction of so many families is not the answer. It's never been. We don't have to agree on what needs to be done but I'd reconsider labeling so many people as Hamas supporters because they have different reactions to what Israel is doing. Not a single one of them supports Hamas and isn't horrified by the Oct 7 massacre of innocent Israelis.

(605 posts)Think. Again.
(15,679 posts)...it does make a lot more sense that this is an abandoned emergency medical safe room under the hospital.
From what they show in the video, it couldn't possibly be used for any sort of 'command center', certainly not big enough or equipped for that. It's nothing but a very long hallway with a room, a defunct kitchenette, and 2 toilets.
Maybe they're keeping it a secret for some security reason, but if Israel has actually captured a command center like they're saying they have, they should show us that.

Hamas has been in charge of Gaza for 16 years. And everything shown was connected by Hamas tunnels.
(Note that even if Israel had built every last inch of the tunnels, Hamas' using them *still* renders them a military target.)
Think. Again.

(29,040 posts)I think those bathrooms and sinks were constructed by the Israelis. I see no evidence of hostages in the tunnels under Shifa. I see A/C and electricity. No weapons etc. They don't even have junk laying around. (Not even a candy bar wrapper) It's like they swept the place clean..LOL
Hamas has tunnels all over town.
I don't know why the IDF has picked this "underground Command and Control Center "as their hill to die on. Heck, there are weapons at Shifa, but once again, I hope they were also filmed where they were found because IDF filmed a pile of them in the parking lot. (Obviously, they had been moved. IDF states they were in patients' rooms and treatment areas etc) I'm just not seeing them in the tunnels at Shifa.
I don't even think Hamas has a Command and Control Center. They're terrorists. They're not into "Command and Control".
There was a huge cache at someone's house unearthed yesterday, yet they pick this hill to die on.
Also, one of their militants also had a bunch of CD's. Yes, CD's. This just ain't Command and Control. It's more like connected terrorist cells.
