(3,175 posts)I block Xitter. I won't give the evil owner clicks. So I hsve no idea what this post is about.
This may seem nitpicky, but don't advertisers look at the number of views his vile site gets? Clicks to Xitter monetize a Bond villain who's begging for ad money.
A description of the contents of the tweet will help by reducing Musk's traffic. We shouldn't feed the leeches by amplfying the traffic.
In the past, Xitter defenders have pointed out that many politicians use the site for posts both official and not. I'd like to point out now that Biden is going to Threads (which is yet another site run by a vile billionaire who played a key role in giving Trump the electoral college, btw, but it looks like the main competition to Xitter now) .
https://www.reuters.com/world/us/white-house-launches-threads-account-biden-harris-2023-11-20/
"Nov 20 (Reuters) - The White House on Monday joined the social media platform Threads, the Meta (META.O) rival to Elon Musk's X social media platform.
The move, which the White House says was in the process for several weeks, comes just days after the White House and others criticized Musk for the amplification and endorsement of an anti-Semitic post."
Xitter has become nothing but an extreme right-wing propaganda organ. Free speech, hell - manchild is suing "many people" who say things he doesn't like. "Many people" say Xitter's a threat to democracy.
I thank posters in advance.
