Just some background to today’s announcement on the 2024 presidential debate schedule…

2. Candidate Goldshower needs very badly to not debate,

so there will be no debate.

3. They dont want fair moderators or venue/audience

They want to let tiny ramble regardless of the c question and not let Joe speak.

Anything else, especially hard questions to tiny, are nogos.

1) Can they change their mind?

2) What happens if the Republican Presidential candidate wants to go anyway? Can they?

5. Apparently, the GOP's withdrawal from the commission doesn't preclude participation

The CNN article said the party “reserved the right to prohibit the nominee’s participation at a later date”.

The withdrawal seems contrived to provide cover for the inevitable complaints that the debates are “rigged”.

7. My questions too - what if tfg has a stroke and is incapacitated and isn't their candidate?

It'll be interesting to hear how things change as we get closer to debate season.

Against Trump is one thing, but debating someone the age of Haley, DeSantis, or Christie is entirely different.
