For over two years, Gabriele Galimberti conducted a visual inquiry on gun culture in the United States, guided by a single obsession: translating this social phenomenon into images. Enshrined as a fundamental right, at the very heart of the Constitution, gun ownership is anchored in all aspects of the American life, sometimes blending into some of its most sacred values. The number of arms (400 million) in the country has, as a matter of fact, surpassed that of the population growth (339 million). Galimberti’s images bring this truth to light, revealing the unexpected sides of the America that loves weapons.

That, and your OP was false.

But, other than that....

Edit: ah, I see you edited out the silly assertion.

A bit disingenuous for you to chastise people for objecting to the part you removed.

So what if 14% of americans own more than what has been found so far at the hospital?

but to be honest, Israel hasn't completed their search at the hospital, so there's still a chance that many more weapons will be found.

How many american gun owners have RPG's? Full automatic rifles?

For example. There are clearly some .50 cal BMGs there and I don't see the gun that was firing them.

What is the acceptable number of AK 47s and handgrenades to be in a hospital?

I thought it would be zero because any positive number indicates terrorists were using the hospital illegally.

against Hamas for even being in the hospital complex.

And as pointed out already in the thread, some of the magazines shown belong to weapons probably carried off by the terrorists.

Sorry, but your attempts at whataboutism to downplay the facts fails miserably.

but I think I'll take the word of the IDF over the word of a terrorist org., and the IDF hasn't finished their search yet, so there's a strong possibility that more evidence will be discovered.

They have known for 5 weeks (since Oct 7) that the IDF was going to invade Gaza. They likely moved much of their stuff from the above ground hospital to places in their tunnel network. That would be the logical move. They planned this war for many months, possibly years... so having a plan in place to move rockets, grenades, weapons from "protected" sites like schools and hospitals would be the obvious thing.

So this "comparison" is flawed.

And what is the point? Even ONE gun would be proof enough that the hospital was being used by Hamas in violation of the rules of war. Does anyone doubt that they were inside the hospital and staging operations from there thus putting the hospital on a possible target list by the IDF. BTW, from the video I saw, the hospital looked messy and disorganized... but not "bombed out" so apparently the IDF never targeted this hospital for precision air strikes ( a claim made by the pro Palestinian people ).

Last, if you believe that Hamas is NOT AN ARMED militia because 14 percent of Americans have more weapons than were displayed by the IDF in the hospital they captured... there is plenty of evidence to the contrary.

So what is the point of the comparison... is Hamas really a group of innocent Palestinians who happen to own a few guns for resistance against the imperial colonist Israelis? Seriously?

don't have a huge problem with Hamas going on murderous rampages here in the US.
