Willis’s office cited defendant Harison Floyd’s social media posts in a Wednesday court filing, argueing they were in violation of the bond agreement he signed as a condition of release. The posts, Willis asserted, are an effort to “intimidate codefendants and witnesses, to communicate directly and indirectly with codefendants and witnesses and to otherwise obstruct the administration of justice.”

There's also this, which makes my blood boil:

He also made several posts about [Ruby] Freeman, including to release audio of the Fulton County poll worker talking to police officers, which the Georgia district attorney’s office claimed constitutes “an act to intimidate a known witness.”

*snip*

“Because of and in response to the Defendant’s intimidating communications, witness Ruby Freeman has been the subject of renewed threats of violence from third parties,” the filing reads.

For anyone who may not remember, Floyd was indicted for allegedly attempting to convince Ruby Freeman to make false statements about election operations on Election Day 2020, under the guise of offering her help. Imo, he deserves to go to jail for continuing to harass that poor woman, never mind anything else!

who are likely to be called as witnesses in the case, as well as his recent comments on a conservative podcast about Jenna Ellis, who pleaded guilty and agreed to cooperate.

“The Defendant’s actions demonstrate that he poses a significant threat of intimidating witnesses and otherwise obstructing the administration of justice in the future, making him ineligible for bond,” prosecutors wrote in the court filing.

intentional and flagrant violations” of his bond agreement, which bars him from communicating directly or indirectly with co-defendants or potential witnesses about the case.

The motion included screenshots of several social media messages they claim were posted by Floyd on his account on X, formerly Twitter, that mentioned several Georgia election officials and others who are likely witnesses in the case.

a Fulton County election worker who had been falsely accused of election fraud by Trump and his supporters. Floyd took part in a Jan. 4, 2021, conversation in which Freeman was told she “needed protection” and was pressured to make false statements about election fraud ...

Prosecutors said in Wednesday’s motion to revoke his bond that he had been posting on X, formerly known as Twitter, “in an effort to intimidate codefendants and witnesses, to communicate directly and indirectly with codefendants and witnesses, and to otherwise obstruct the administration of justice.” His actions amounted to “intentional and flagrant violations” of his bond conditions, prosecutors wrote.
