Use The Word Dictator

I heard the suggestion and totally agree with it, words matter.

Many people do not understand the word authoritarian. When we say Trump wants to be an authoritarian leader, people don't get it.

People understand the word dictator:

Hitler
Pol Pot
Stalin
Idi Amin
Pinocet
Franco
Saddam Hussein
Trump has been channeling Hitler in his speeches, he is telling us who he is.

It’s the media that needs to start using the word. We can use dictator in casual conversation. We can also contact our representatives in Washington to try to get them to use dictator.

I am not saying that the use of the word authoritarian is wrong, it is quite accurate.

I am saying that people have a better understanding of the word dictator.

that he's been saying shit and acting like that for most of his adult (I use the term 'adult' loosely) life. And look where we are today.

Why do you think all of today's M$M is owned and controlled by giant corporations? It isn't so much to make money, it's to control the narrative. We all see it: Democrats win - Biden's in trouble, Republicans will shut down gov't - Democrat's fault...

Trump has been quite clear what he intends for the MSM. Trump is by nature a totalitarian. Restraints on his powers do not compute.

We need to call out Trump for who and what he wants to become: a dictator like all the autocrats he so admires bc of their death grip over their own people.

I think we'll be holding our breath forever to get the MSM to follow suit. Consider how long it took for them to utter the word 'lying' in reference to Agent Orange.

This is on us now. Use the word, broadcast it regularly. This is who the man is and always was.

regime and agenda mean as clearly as possible.

Use historical examples of dictators and authoritarians and also present figures like Orban in Hungary.

Explain what a dictatorship means for average people -- corrupt media and courts, lack of a free press and freedom of speech, loss of civil rights and voting, paramilitary groups and secret police, harassment of dissenters, minorities and more.

Also explain what *democracy means in clear terms for those who need a reminder.

We almost lost democracy once with the 'Business Plot' to Overthrow FDR in 1933 planned by powerful US industrialists and business interests. They were threatened by FDR's agenda to help Americans suffering during the Great Depression (1929) and the country overall.

The plot involved a coup to remove FDR, an 'invalid' and replace him with a popular 'leader of the people,' an unelected dictator. The plan failed, thanks to Major General Smedley Butler who was approached to play the key role. Instead, Butler, a man of honor and courage exposed the plan, thank God.

Many Americans do not know there were pro fascist, anti democratic factions in the US in the 1930s - antisemitic Hitler admirers like Henry Ford, 'Radio Priest' Father Charles Coughlin, hero aviator Charles Lindbergh and the America First group, and the German American Bund, a pro Nazi organization with chapters across the US.

There were also other pro fascist organizations in the 1930s in Europe, the British Union of Fascists in the UK, Franco in Spain, Mussolini in Italy and other groups.

IT CAN HAPPEN HERE, IF WE DONT STOP IT
