Romney did not act alone- The media and R party need to be held accountable for his stupidity

I understand that people like a scapegoat, but as someone else made the perfect analogy:

'The Republican party farted out Romney and now they are all trying to run away like they had nothing to do with it'

Romney was a result of the corporate criminal media supporting liars in the Republican party.

He couldn't have done it without the media and they need to be held accountable.

We can't let them put all the blame on him, and keep pretending they are liberal or impartial.

Now is our time to expose the Corporate media full of Republican liars, they are going down with the Romney ship as well.

They electronically eliminated each front runner, one right after the other, and the media played along.

Millions still listen to that drug addict Limbaugh. This campaign exposed as clearly as possible what the republicans stood for. Still Romney did get millions of votes because there are millions of stupid people in America.

There is a lot of stupid out there that can't be fixed and they are not going to hold anyone accountable. They believe the BS.

broadcasting their own culpability on air who will hear or see the truth?
News papers could report the role that other media played in pulling the wool over American's eyes but they are all owned by the same corporate interests, so hoping for them to expose the propagandistic nature of television media is probably wasted energy.
Besides, the problem is much larger than just the media, preachers spew the same lies to their congregations, bosses tell their employees the world will end if republicans are not elected, and Americans, themselves, are unwilling to question those who percolate to the top through our system (cognitive dissonance).
While I long for a cataclysmic wakening of the public, a sudden realization or recognition that the media works for the elites and not for us, I suspect that is not the way we will see any change.
I think our best hope is to let the media continue in their current role while the public gradually begins to see them for what they are.
This election cycle has moved us in that direction far more quickly than those in power like. Fox News ratings have dipped, Rush has had to tell his audiences that he lied to them (rather than admit to not knowing the truth), Romney's (the poopy-head) campaign strategy to lie to and disrespect the public, etc. ad nauseam have helped many to lose faith in the media.
If they keep abusing their power and lying to the public this recognition will begin to snowball and pundits will be seen as the agents of our problems not the reporters they pretend to be.

Citizen's United allowed more money to be used in this election than ever before, the corporate media were the biggest liars the world has ever seen...and THEY LOST

WE the People took back our power on the internet. This is why they have sent their minions to the internet to tell us to compromise with sociopathic liars with no ideas.

We are the ones we have been waiting for.

And we won despite the media lying and misinforming the viewing public. This is the evidence I look to when suggesting that Americans are beginning to see the media for the propaganda tool they are. The internet is the alternative media that will check the abuses perpetrated by the MSM but the internet requires one to be active in their own search for information (while television/radio allow consumers to be passive).
As more people recognize that pundits lie more will make the effort to find new sources of information.
There is no way that Romney could have gotten as many votes as he did without the influence of the MSM. But in the process of providing that influence (backing a clearly horrible candidate) the MSM exposed themselves as shameless, propagandistic whores for right wing elites.
Hopefully, by the next election cycle, even more Americans will recognize the media as untrustworthy sources of information and authority.
