Other investigations Trump argued could not take place during Trump's term in office as they could be distracting from his job as President.

It takes time for thorough State and DOJ investigations (that the Biden administration has kept out of) only after which it is determined IF there will be indictments/charges filed. Then there is the process of setting a court date. (I sat on a jury for a minor, with public defender, committing a gun offense that took 5 years to come to trial).

Every step along the way, Trump asked for delays and now he is complaining about the timing?

And if Biden was truly misusing DOJ, wouldn't all of the Hunter Biden stuff be over and done with?
