It's going to be a Hispanic male for the GOP in 2016, I'd guarantee it.

and when Hillary45 defeats Jeb,
Castro46 against GP is possible in 24.

Politicians are egotists (most of them). And the Bush's all have complex problems in their own relationships in the Bush family. (imho).

It should be another interesting 4 years (though I am in no rush whatsoever for the next four years to pass...may they be full of accomplishments that forever will be part of America and the world.

Jeb/Christie? vs. Hillary/Castro?

Hillary would be just turned 69, not 70 btw.
Warren would be 67 1/2

and Hillary just said she wants to see if she becomes untired.

This tired meme is a Rush limbo creation(much like the whole phony puma movement.)

Whomever Obama backs will be the nominee. Because whomever Obama backs will get Obama's voters, the one thing Hillary did not have in 2008.

btw-remind yourself how old HIllary's mom was when she died.

And its degrading to use age as a negative.

Do you want a young pup like Ryan?
It's just as degrading as McCain thinking Sarah=Hillary

Hillary on the other hand, does look her age, and then some. She looks totally exhausted and burned out, and I don't need to listen to Druggie Limpballs to "see" that.

I guess my main objection to Hillary is not her age per se, but her outlook, which I read as nearly identical to Obama's. Don't get me wrong, he has been far better than the possible alternatives but not progressive enough for me. I don't think Hillary would be much different, as capable as she is. But I want new blood, and a new outlook. And I despise dynasties.

Lyin' Ryan? Seriously? That was a stretch...and degrading to imply that simply wanting someone younger would lead me to that monster.

I guess I'm g@ddamned tired of all the established Dems (and of course I realize some are better than others--I have many fewer problems with Pelosi than Hoyer, etc), of the national security state, of the thought that we are and should be the One Essential (i.e. exceptional) Nation blah blah blah.

New blood. New ideas. And some fire in the belly.

Warren/Grayson 2016.

They may put a watered down fire talking Hispanic in the VP spot, but the ones available have ethical of image problems. Democrats are far better positioned to have a genuine Hispanic ticket topper by no later than 2024. A Castro/Kennedy ticket would be fucking unbeatable in 2024, Castro would be a bit older, but Kennedy would be only something like 49 after serving eight years as Veep and 57 after serving eight years as President.

because FL's electors couldn't vote for them. So you are right that it is not likely.

But at this point, the Latino name might be the more important consideration for them. They have to do something, and the Latino community has a lot of very conservative (with a small c) people in it.

I'm hoping they never realize this.

I doubt the GOP would pick a business man ever again either. Too many issues with off-shoring in that group. They most likely won't pick a uber rich person either, too many ties to China no doubt. They'd be safest going for a General, Governor or Senator. But I don't think another old white man will turn on the young girls or boys lol... kinda scarey actually!

FWIW, I think Hillary should get some rest - maybe enjoy some grandkids when/if she has any. Elizabeth W would be great, however I think she's just a tad TOO liberal for many. I'm having a hard time thinking past PBO at the moment.

I do think the GOP will try and go with Chris Christie - he even has respect from a lot of Dems. Of course, with a woman or minority as VP. Maybe a minority woman? Condi Rice is too identified with the Bushies. Nah, it'll probably be the Hispanic guy that spoke at the RNC. Can't think of his name - is it Cruz? Although Christie isn't the type (like bitter ole McCain) to be coerced into picking a potential disaster like SP.

I think I'll just enjoy the fact that the GOP got their asses whooped! Wow, I have a bday next week and I just realized that I'm older than Obama! In fact, several years older. It's the first time that a Prez has been younger than me. Yikes! At this point I guess I should just be happy that I'm HAVING a bday!
