1. I am having flashbacks of Rick Santorum

with his horrific comment equating homosexuality to "man on dog" sex.

Thankfully, Pennsylvania managed to vote Santorum out of office in 2006.

But now we have someone second in line to the presidency with equally dangerous views.

I donated to a gofundme for Dr. Bernard. I think she is brave and cool. In a sane society doctors like these would be respected not harassed. I cannot believe she was reprimanded for doing what would be considered basic decency by anyone except the meninist taliban/gilead-offer a 10 year old rape victim an abortion.

With very rare exceptions, I generally like doctors and other scientists irl.

3. Now that they've defined even life-saving procedures that gynecologists

are trained in as abortion, they've declared war on an entire medical specialty and gynecologists are fleeing red states. The GOP wants more babies to be born--but pregnancy and giving birth are going to get very risky in red states.
