A Weibo account run by China's state-owned CCTV claimed the Jewish community dominates U.S. finance and politics and that the issue of Israel has often been a deciding factor in every U.S. election. The post has since been deleted.

At one point after the Hamas attacks, the hashtag "the 3% Jewish population in the U.S. controls over 70% of American wealth" became one of the top trending topics on heavily censored Weibo.

This sounds like "The Jews won't replace us" crowd here in the US.

They are xenophobic and anti-American under Winnie the Flu.

Since the Hamas attacks, they CCP refuses to condemn the attack and has allowed state media and internet influencers to attack Israel and Jews repeatedly.

My wife's mother got into a hit and run with a drunk driver and got messed up badly, so she is there until December caring for her.

Rule to understand in China: If it isn't censored, it's government approved. The CCP sanctions this. In this world, do not force others to the corner because you would only be digging your own grave," wrote Ziwu Xiashi, one of the biggest nationalist commentators with 1 million followers on Weibo, China's equivalent of X, formerly Twitter.

"Wherever the Jews have gone, they have always been massacred. There's a reason why. You only love Jews when they are not in your area," wrote online commentator Vincent.

I got told this to my face. Jews get killed because they always cause problems.

Even when it affects one of their own, they don't care and will throw that person under the bus. SOP in China.

When Israel's consulate in Guangzhou posted a report of a Chinese Israeli woman being abducted by Hamas militants, netizens accused the consulate of trying to drive a wedge between Chinese and Palestinians citizens.

"Impressive divisive tactic," one popular comment wrote. "Is that girl even Chinese?"

Under a different news post about the woman, a comment with over 10,000 likes asked, "If she thinks she's Israeli, this has nothing to do with us. Why even post it on China's internet?"

The comments were at odds with a posting by the Chinese Embassy in Israel, which said, "Noa was kidnapped by Hamas terrorists when attending a peace music festival in southern Israel. She was dragged from Israel to Gaza. She is a daughter, a sister and a friend."

That would seem to me to be something to raise a red flag with immigration, or at least make them question her more closely. Is there some reason why she can't stay with you in Thailand until you are able to return? Given the problems the two of you have had in the past I would think you'd try to make the process as straightforward from the INS perspective as possible i.e., show up together as a married couple entering the country.

Extreme nationalism and xenophobia are an unfortunately common means of grabbing and holding political power but harmful in the long run to a nation's economic success, and possibly a nation's economic viability.

Nations that do not welcome immigrants will stagnate.
