Why did Stephanie Ruhle apologize at the end of tonight's show?

I saw her talking to Martin Fletcher towards the end and then she said she was embarrassed and apologized.
What happened?

1. I once saw her apologize on air to a guest because she ran out of time for that guest.

I missed tonight's episode.

2. She was briefly mugging for the camera just before

the handoff from Alex Wagner. It was quite brief and she didn't realize she was on air, of course.

I read Abby Phillips on CNN was caught fixing her makeup during a break in the middle of reporting on the atrocities in Israel.

4. We tell women they have to wear makeup then pillory them for tending it.

Who knows if maybe checking the makeup was simply a way to try to maintain control of herself and her emotions. I've had to busy myself in stupid ways at times to keep from losing it in deeply painful, emotional situations.

8. Yeah. That was pretty bad. I get that all make unintentional mistakes, but still...

I have to wonder if that camera man may have been annoyed by her antics and intentionally put them on screen.

that would be the producer, I think, or the director.

Might an annoyed producer, instead, have DIRECTED him/her to do so? Possibly.
