Not quite but real close. I suspect it is a regional variant or something they used because it is close to the more established variant. This is typical adolescent racist name calling.

However, there is an old racial slur ending in "boo" that I'm familiar with, and another that begins with "pick." I wonder if peekaboo is a mashup of those two?

29. As a code-word analogy & his prolific use of the term "rigger" (supposedly "rigging an election")

and in reference to the urban areas (and specifically used in the case of D.A. Fani Willis' RICO case), you have this term, where I would disagree with NY Mag and Cohen's take of it not being this word but it is - "jigaboo".

Some of the "real" terms are probably known to him but I expect he has some people around him who are manufacturing some of the code-word versions and feeding that to him and once he picks up on it, it's bomb's away.

It goes back to Lee Atwater (which makes me wonder if some of this is coming out of Roger Stone, who was one of Atwater's buddies). People might recall this from Atwater -
