That's pretty much the Republican agenda. Does anyone see any policy there? Does anyone see any sanity there? All I see is a criminal Republican Party run amok and trying to put an end to our Constitution, our freedoms, and our way of life. They have crashed though "totally nuts" and gone where no maniac has gone before.
Yet, millions of voters are sticking with them and love the chaos and madness. How to explain this? Beats me.
The Republican agenda is that of a deranged Orange Cretin who just might win/steal the next presidential election.
We thought that Covid was a threat? America has never faced a bigger threat than the disease called Trumpism. Somehow, someway, many Americans have lost their minds and the ability to reason. They don't grasp that, if the creature gets back into the White House, there will never again be another election. They don't understand that they are prepared to vote for a mentally incompetent man and a political party that has gone mad, and that will take away any freedoms they think they have. -- They don't even understand that the first thing these fascists will do is take away all of their beloved guns.
I live in fear of the upcoming presidential election. And there must be millions who feel as I do. Yet, we the majority, are focusing on "Get Out The Vote" and we have no "Plan B." And we badly need one. Look at that headline again. Do you really want to live your life in a crazed society with a sociopath in charge and his obedient, mindless thugs carrying out his every wish and fantasy? I, for one, intend to skip this Mad Hatter's Tea Party.

(22,165 posts)Many folks would rather watch the shouting lunatic "characters" of the Republican reality TV show than watch a sober assessment of the genuine troubles in our nation and rational policy proposals to solve our problems.
As in reality TV, it is the most obnoxious, unhinged, belligerent, divorced-from-reality characters who draw the audience and become stars.
