NYC is very blue, but it's also very big.

There are sections of Staten Island, Queens, and Brooklyn that are quite MAGA friendly. Even Manhattan, with all the Wall Street types, has Trump supporters. Bronx? I'm sure there are a section or two there, as well. (Though I would think Bronx is the least MAGA friendly borough.).

While he can certainly start up new businesses based out of FLA the assets/obligations for the NY businesses remain with those businesses. A huge problem for the Orange Ruski and his spawn is that so much of their obligations, other business endeavors and their lifestyles are tied to those assets. So now that the massive overly inflated asset values have been revealed, and found at trial to exist, the lenders are now going to scramble and those involved are massively underwater. Now that a court appointed administrator is in charge there will be no more phony appraised values and sweetheart deals with people getting commissions based on wildly exaggerated numbers.

So maybe cue up the Saudis to ride in with tons of money to buy up all of the assets to satisfy the loans in exchange for the remaining "boxes" nobody was supposed to talk about.

He could try to start new corporate structures, but he will have to d isclose that he was found to have committed fraud, and is barred from doing business in nys. Some states won't allow you to be a corporate officer with that kind of background, let alone being a felon.

That will have to be disclosed to banks as well. And accounting firms will run the other way.

Yesterday a friend told me how he had read that trump has been removing assets from ny. That , however, has time restrictions. If you recall, madoff tried that and it got clawed back.
