What we see instead is brainless authoritarianism. They are simply obsessed with making rules so they can then hurt people for breaking rules. Why? Because their hooting masses seem to like it when they hurt others.

It so fucking infuriating that half of the political power (or more, or less, depending on the measure) is held by dumbassed politicians exploiting easily manipulated dumbassed voters, with no substance to be found anywhere.
