Dump’s has FOUR indictments and he’s winning a primary. Menendez is innocent until proven guilty

He may be acquitted at trial. He professes his innocence. The press has loudly established that an indictment is not a final verdict

But he was not convicted. Seems you’ve already judged him as guilty. I don’t know his defense so I’m open to waiting.

If the Republicans can keep their criminals in place (Santos, Boebert, Biggs, Jordan and of course, Trump) then Democrats need to use Menendez to force the Republicans to kick out one of their members - most likely Santos.

All he has to say is look at Thomas, as his defense?

In any case, the Republicans won't do jack about their criminals, and their morally bankrupt voters won't care.

Democrats don't have that luxury. Many of our voters actually care about ethics, and the media is not on our side. Menendez will get far more negative press than any Republican.

First, the Senate would still be 50-49 Democrats (including the three independents who caucus with the Democrats and Manchin, who isn't perfect, but still caucuses with the Democrats).

Second, the Democratic governor could and would quickly replace Menendez with another Democrat.
