George Takei on Lin Wood not being a Georgia RICO defendent

George Takei :verified: 🏳️?🌈🖖🏽

It’s always interesting to me to see who HASN’T been named in an indictment like the RICO case in Georgia. One of those names belongs to lawyer Lin Wood, who helped spread election fraud lies alongside his pals Sidney Powell, Rudy Giuliani, and Jenna Ellis, who were all named as defendants.

And now, look! In one of Fani Willis’s motions, Lin Wood is listed among the names of the STATE’S witnesses in Georgia. Guess we know who he has been talking to and ratting out.

He may never be called but might be a factor in some others flipping.

But even mentally ill witnesses could provide important information.
Though they cannot be used on the stand.

he doesn't have knowledge that can lead to useful evidence. He's probably too nuts to actually testify, but he probably knows stuff they can use.

He has a credible insanity defense. Anyone who would put him on the stand for testimony is a fool.

Is that your opinion of her?

I guess we’ll see what happens.

Clearly you do not understand that the prosecuting attorney is required to disclose the names of all persons who might be called as witnesses.

Lin Wood testified to the grand jury and is not in the indictment, so his name went on the list.

My opinion of her is fine. It would be nice if people in her custody did not die from being eaten by insects, however.

My opinion of people who don't know what the fuck they are talking about and assume that a name on a list means that the person in question has developed some kind of animus toward Trump or toward the election fraud in general, is not high. Nor do I appreciate cutesy personal digs from said same.

Lin Wood likely holds the same insane opinions he ever held and likely believes the election was stolen. That does not negate what value he might have as a witness to certain facts or communications. It remains hazardous to actually call him as a witness, given the full range of things he believes and says.

The extrapolations being made from this routine listing of witnesses are just dumb.

Other people manage to understand that, so I imagine you have some more personal commentary to make:
