I mean, your profile says you pretty much just joined, but DU has been around a LONG time.

Longer than Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok. It's been in existence longer than the iPhone.

It's been here a long bloody time. There are a lot of influential people who look at this forum. They might not be members or they might not post much, but they absolutely look at DU.

So it is entirely possible at the very least, someone on Biden's staff is relating to him things that are discussed here.

definitely reads DU, and that includes a lot of Republican strategists. I would be very surprised if he didn't at least have staffers who read DU.

However, "the people" are generally sensible sorts who go through their daily lives without a single thought devoted to politics unless they watch the nightly news, Democrats thinking "there's that orange asshole again," if that. They'll devote thoughts toward politics late in 2024, but not before then.

We need to be ready for 'em, we need to be persuasive.

I wouldn’t be surprised if some of his staffers that are checking DU out, come up with some pertinent statements by some of us on here to give Joe a little boost of energy, if maybe he starts to feel a little bit down when having to deal with the orange menace.

Many of us on here can totally relate to Joe back when we were in high school and had to deal with a bully like our favorite national disgrace. Like Joe and others from his high school, one would meet up with a guy like the bone spurs coward outside of the school house and resolve things quickly. Good news is, one can verbally handle a smug arrogant loudmouth with a well placed blast like “ will someone shut this guy up” , that Joe is superb at. You go Joe.
