The more I hear from Trumps top picks who were "the best people" the more I realize

they not only weren't the best people, they were, in many cases, pretty shallow and stupid. They mostly seem to be men and women who rose to the highest level of their incompetence due to their privileged status and in some case just because they were white, wealthy, corrupt, and racist.

The "best" General Flynn, the best AG Barr, personal attorney Giuliani and others now indicted, and on and on and on.

The country would be a lot better or if they all could be convicted and their citizenship revoked and have them deported to another country of their choosing.

Then, when many of them turned out to actually have at least a smidgen of decency, enough to give honest advice that Trump didn't like, and/or eventually turn against Trump, these people were suddenly "the worst", "idiots", "low IQ", "losers", etc., etc.

It doesn't dawn on the MAGAts that this is essentially Trump confessing that he himself has an absolutely terrible track record at picking "good" people. Except in the minds of impervious idiots, Trump can't have it both ways: both being a supposedly great leader and being such a consistently horrible judge of the people he selects.
