I remember that morning as clearly today as I did the day it happened--where I was, how I got the news, how I spread the news and how I tried to manage going to work later (nearly impossible to focus).

8. I was at the memorial site yesterday.

It’s very well done, beautiful really. I had some mixed feelings about it though. The “never forget” banners have corporate sponsors, the merch store seemed a bit unseemly and the amount of hucksters around the area selling knock off memorabilia seems inappropriate to me.
