S E Cupp - the right-wing establishment's sacrificial lamb...

Until this morning, I hadn't paid enough attention to her to form an opinion. She was on Morning Joe earlier - which happened to be mercifully Joe-less. Anyway, this self-assured 30-something very staunchly toes the radical line. Here is some additional information about her from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S._E._Cupp

Education: Art History Major from Cornell, Trained in classical ballet

"On July 5, 2012, Cupp said on The Cycle that she "would never vote for an atheist president." When asked to explain, Cupp said she felt that a president must not represent only 10 to 15 percent of the American populace and that faith served as a "check" on presidential power."
--------------------------
The woman makes no sense. She's on these shows to defend the radical right-wing establishment, which is on its way down.

Well, Ms. S E Cupp - bad choice for you, because you are trashing your reputation and credibility everyday you go on TV and defend the "Republican brand," and declare the only republican problem is "communication." What a sad thing to do to yourself at such a young age. I predict in five years, S E Cupp will be on the scrap heap of thrown-away republican pundits much like many others we've seen over the years.

She is an art history major. The only jobs available to AH majors are in museums or academia, and those are very few in number. There are art galleries, but you don't need an AH degree to work in those. So, what do you do, art history major? Perhaps you have something other than your intellect that will help you get a job, a good paying job, such as your physical attributes. You discover that there is a tv network out there that will hire you if you are attractive, whether or not you are a journalist. All you have to do is spout right-wing nuttery, and presto you are making six figures, and you are an Art History Major! Brilliant!

says she was engaged in Sept. I suppose she will follow the far right philosophy of no sexual relations before marriage, and definitely NO contraception after. In 10 years after her marriage, she should have what?....5 children?

How come the media never asked why Paul Ryan and his wife only have 3 children? (yes, it's fair game to ask). Should'nt he and his wife have at least 7 to 10 children?

Do you think they used....contraception??

So tired of the do-as-I-say-party.

I was actually watching some of the show this morning since Joe wasn't there and saw a shot of Sippy Cup from behind. Her glasses were filthy and I immediately thought she must wear them as a prop.

When my oldest son was around ten, he wanted to wear glasses because he thought they'd make him look smarter. When you consider Sippy's level of maturity, she probably sports the similar mentality of a ten year-old.

She's contrived some uptight, loud, supposed intelligent character--And she plays at it. She's a fraud simply put. She's not dumb, but she's certainly not Maddow in even the smallest of measure. I can see her spending a lot of her time researching various conservative talking points, pulling a Sarah Palin if you will--memorizing bits and pieces to make her look as though she knows what she's talking about. But in the end she's nothing more than a made up character, crafted together with what amounts to rhetorical duct tape and lots of lip gloss to cover up the dingbat underneath.

A college education is to teach you how to learn. Everyone is ultimately self taught. And an art history degree doesn't preclude anyone from being knowledgeable about public affairs. Many people who are knowledgeable about politics are trained in other fields.

I remember riding a LIRR train into Manhattan once, and of the group I found myself with, all of us worked successfully in a field other than what our degrees were in.

Having said that, I'll allow that there are other reasons that Ms. Cupp seems like an idiot in this field.
