Democracy is not dead, yet.

The dictators around the world are watching the prosecution of Donald Trump very closely. Because he was one of them.

He never thought he would ever be indicted for anything. He thought he was above the law. He had no fear in cozying up to Putin and Kim Jung Un. He scoffed at the laws.

But now, he has been indicted 4 times and is charged with 91 criminal counts. The dictators know that if it can happen to Trump, it can happen to them. They cannot bear to have their citizens getting any bright ideas about democracy and things like justice and accountability.

The people around the world are watching what America does. Can they hold the criminal enterprise accountable for their crimes?

It will be a good day for the world when democracy triumphs over the dictators. We should all hope for the day that Donald Trump is locked away for the crimes he has committed.

It could be the re-birth of democracy.

Because they’re already established dictators. Once that happens, it’s really hard to wrest back that power. But I do think the wannabes who want to end democracy and become dictators are taking a hard look at what’s happening to the asshole and might think twice.

...when the Wagner troops were on their way to Moscow. I don't think he feels as secure as some might think.

Overthrown and murdered maybe but not of the law, he is the law.

I also don’t think those troops were coming to liberate the country and install democracy.

I agree.

But, "overthrown and murdered" maybe?

Isn't that enough to occupy the mind?

I would imagine that takes up a good portion of every dictator’s mind every day. It sounds like a good position to be in until you’re actually in it.

You can’t trust anyone and you’re always looking over your shoulder.

The worst he can do to his enemies is insult them.
