Well guess what. He was taken prisoner. The time he was in custody going through the SURRENDER process: getting his mug shot taken, posting bond and signing the papers agreeing to the conditions of that bond
.he was a prisoner. Thus his PRISONER number, starting with P which is short for PRISONER, P01135809.
So now he has the distinction of being what he alleged to find odious, PRISONER
.INMATE
.CONVICT
..DIRT BAG
.and so on.
He has the distinction of being the first (EX) president to surrender.
He has, well had, fortress Mar-a-lago
.he coulda barricaded himself inside his fancy toilet room with his precious documents (its mine, we loves it, it makes us feel good) and dared anyone to come get him
.but no, he surrendered.
So SURRENDER monkey trump will also go down in history as the national SURRENDERER. Wikipedia will have his image as that of how to willingly SURRENDER.

(31,207 posts)Do you think maybe he ever thinks of that? He wouldve been a much better position for this election if he has conceded the election and gone away for 2 years. He was incapable of that

Trump and the GOP only have themselves to blame for Trump's current legal troubles and impending incarceration.

(25,550 posts)He said, "I like people who weren't captured".
As for being "taken prisoner", he's not in custody. Just because he's been issued a number doesn't mean he's a prisoner. He's not a prisoner. He's not an inmate. He's not a convict. All of those have yet to be determined.
I get where people are going with some of this stuff, but assertions should at least have some basis in reality.
