Ramaswammy. It finally occurred to me - everything he says sounds like Jim Jones after

he really started doing massive amounts of drugs, and going off the deep end. Remember all those creepy recordings of Jones doing drills, saying it was the end before it really was the end? That's what Vivek sounds like.

His love of slogans. His rambling, his hatred, his inflection. That super-creepy and unbelievably practiced downward pitch at the end of every sentence, designed to be hypnotic. Designed to make you shut down your brain and just accept what he's saying.

No wonder so many of them find him attractive.

It was driving me a bit nuts, trying to figure who he reminded me of. Jim Jones in all his rat-poisoning glory.

1. I didn't listen to him for very long - just a few short clips.

But those were enough to get a nasty creepy vibe from him. I found him to be extremely irritating.

That's it! I was telling my wife that his inflections are very preacher-like, the way he drops down at the end of each sentence, along with his perfect enunciation.

we started saying that back in the Shrub era. Maybe even before that.

Jim Jones is where the phrase originated.

We cannot let ANY of these people come anywhere near the levers of power again... especially Vivek and DeSantis.

Oh, and Trump, ofc.

The current reminders of that tragedy are chilling.

I should rephrase that, nobody who knew my brother well. He was pretty good at BSing people with limited technical knowledge.

... In watching the debate I learned his parents "came to this country with nothing" and now he's a billionaire businessman who wants this "American Dream" everyone. I have not investigated Ramaswamy, but he sounds like a liar. I'm not buying that biography... I guess that kind of bio turns Republicans on... and saying climate change is "a hoax."

I'm not sure how he surged in the polls, but there was nothing there. I saw an obnoxious, ignorant airhead on that stage. There was nothing appealing at all and he thinks he's the new Obama?? LMAO!

Just the new flavor. It even happened with Palin.
