The one on the plane might have been a double also. Just watched a 5 min utoob vid by the russian dude and he said that wagner guys are pissed and heading back to Moscow from Belarus. If prigzhin is dead, there could well be a civil war soon, maybe next week.

This year only have had, so far, a week or so of smoke. Usually by now we'd have been in smoke for weeks if not months. And we got relief from the heat wave thanks to hurricane Hilary that was dropping rain on us before the eye crossed over the US border and finally cleared up yesterday. There another, Franklin, that came ashore and got sucked into the giant wheel, gyre, that has been rotating over the midsection of the country for weeks and it's dragging the remains of that storm up this way as well. That one might not reach this far before it rains out but it looks like northern Utah might get some of that one.
I haven't looked yet but I think all the rain Hilary gave us might have helped deal with fires in Idaho and eastern Oregon given how little smoke we're getting here. Most of the smoke from Canada has gone east of us or west of us, I'm okay with that!
