(330 posts)I'm not diminishing the threat to our democracy on January 6, but even as I was watching it in real-time I thought: What a bunch of clowns. These losers couldn't overturn the government of the most primitive banana republic. Untrained, out of shape, poorly equipped, etc. A bunch of self-obsessed tinpot "heroes". What a joke.

(113,131 posts)We had a bunch of them from the Four Corners. Tjeor specialty at the border was pointing guns at women and children.
Border Patrol sent them packing, the state arrested the leaders, not sure what happened after that.

(14,402 posts)I wasn't ever a soldier and do not play one on TV or in video games, but WTF is this exercise?
They are not giving each other coverage, they are just presenting a big easy target in the open.
Maybe they are pretending that they are in a huge open field surrounded by slow-moving, unarmed zombies. I'm having trouble envisioning any real tactical situation where this "training" makes any sense.
These are the sort of nincompoops that would screw up the instructions on a claymore.
