I posted a pun about a post and said, "I did nazi that coming" (as in "I did not see that coming" ).
FB removed my comment and put a ton of restrictions on me. The restrictions are no big deal because I don't use any of those features they applied the restrictions to (which is kind of funny).
But actually, I think it was a good thing because they said it was due to me being reported as a sympathizer. I'm guessing they have a search engine that finds certain phrases, and puts them on watch. Some bored reviewer probably said, "WTF. Block."
Anyways, I'm not a nazi sympathizer, and reported the report by telling them it was a pun. We'll see what happens.

(980 posts)FaceBook never really checks anything out. They just go by what someone who follows the post says. Perhaps they do it in groups. That way, a group of folks could give an excuse why they want a post removed, and it just happens automagically.
I see that with my posts there and my friends' posts. They can post the same thing that I do, but I believe because I have purged all the right wingers from my friends, mine do not get deleted or called out, but they, who still have right wingers as friends, get the same exact posts removed, reported or whatever.

(12,252 posts)But I ventured out (lately) and commented on friends posts that are open to the world. So some nazi probably found it annoying and reported it.
I guess this is an example of our future world with AI.
