Perhaps a question for the legal scholars here?

If Fani Willis indicts Trump on RICO charges, can the Feds take over the case from her?

Can Jack Smith take over a RICO investigation?

Some are expecting the indictment to come down in Georgia this week, perhaps even today?

Would a RICO investigation continue into the next Administration, no matter if it is Democrat or Republican?

Stuff is happening really fast, it seems.

I don't believe so. If Willis brings a RICO charge v. Trump it will be under the state's RICO law. onenote Aug 2023 #1

Georgia is one of several states that have enacted their own version of RICO.
