neck.
(LOL)
Elon Musk may be set on live-streaming his fight with Mark Zuckerberg, but he wants to get his neck and upper back checked before fixing a date.
"Exact date is still in flux. I'm getting an MRI of my neck & upper back tomorrow," Musk wrote on Sunday night, responding to a tweet about Zuckerberg waiting for his confirmation to set a date for fight night.
"May require surgery before the fight can happen. Will know this week," Musk continued.
Musk's tweet about his back problems came after he announced Sunday that the fight, whenever it happens, would be streamed live on X, which was formerly known as Twitter. The billionaire added that the fight's proceeds would "go to charity for veterans."
Musk, injuries aside, has been training for his fight with Zuckerberg. In July, Canadian UFC fighter Georges St-Pierre said in a tweet that he had a "great training session" with Musk, the podcaster Lex Fridman, and the martial artist John Danaher.

(2,619 posts)and until my recent back surgery, was lifting more than that.
Was he honestly bragging about lifting 45 lbs?
I was doing dead lifts of over 100 pounds and I'm a teeny nothing.

(6,424 posts)Yeah, I'm not preparing at all with these UFC and pro boxers I added to the payroll, no not at all!
Ultimately don't care, but wouldn't mind a clip of them in slow motion getting hit in the face, for science!

(3,241 posts)buy to say whatever he needs them to say. Mr. Musk is a top specimen, if he exercises and eats nutritious foods, with his top notch genetics, he could easily live to the ripe old age of 120 .however lol .he has this neck thingamajig that needs to be examined further .we should have an answer on the twelfth.

(12,715 posts)Musk has spent that time partying. Whether or not Zuckerberg is a good "fighter", I'm pretty sure he's in better shape.
BTW, I had to haul around a 45 to 50 lb tool box and occasionally add about 20 lbs of test equipment all over shipyards 5 days a week in steel toe boots when I was Elon's age. I'm paying for it 15 years later, however - that being said, if me as an overweight 170 lb female fireplug with bad knees could do that at his age, I'm not so sure I'm all that impressed with a 45 lb lift.
