Only 41% of Repubs and Repub leaning independents think Trump did nothing wrong

https://www.npr.org/2023/07/28/1190748917/trump-republican-support-independents-indictment-january-6-poll

I think we fous on the crazies too much. The videos of weirdo cult members saying eh could do anything and they'd still vote for him. 41% is a devastating number for him, and it's only going to shrink. When 59% of the people you need to vote for you think you're guilty of something, you're doomed.

It was always going to be drip by drip. I get it, 41% thinking he did nothing wrong is still an insanely high number, and there are cult members. But I do think the cult will only keep that number at about 20% by the end of this year.

There has always been about 30% who will support ANY Republican president no matter what. I'm sure there's similar on our side as well but our leaders are rarely this egregious.

41% of republican voters can look at the mountain of corruption and call it honor. That's horrifying.

59% of them are at least semi sane. Where are their interviews at?

And Trump needs just about 100% of these voters, not 41%, not even 75%. Sure, some will know he's guilty and vote for him anyway, but this is moving.

The 41% who think he did nothing wrong was 50% a month ago in this poll.

armed lunatics is worse than Russia in 1917 when Lenin took the country, not from the czars but from a moderate government and Adolph took Germany in the '30s.

It doesn't take many to terrorize the population into submission especially when the police and military have lots of maggots.

How many will still vote for Trump even though they agree he did wrong things, because they hate Democrats so much and believe we've done worse?

I wonder what percentage of Republicans would agree with the statement "Most scandals in the news about Democratic figures over the last 30 years were puffed-up horseshit, mere accusations, easily repeatable on radio and other media, but with no evidence capable of standing up to scrutiny in an actual courtroom?"
