Ron Johnson Not Willing To Put His Money Where His Mouth Is

Senator Ron Johnson claims he wants to save Social Security but he doesn't want to pay for it.

By Chris capper Liebenthal — July 15, 2023

It's a well known fact that Senator Ron Johnson wants to cut Social Security and even privatize it. However, despite this being common knowledge, RoJo keeps up the pretense that he really, really wants to save it.

The answer to the Social Security issue is simple - make the rich pay their fair share. Right now, they only pay up to a certain amount of income and don't have to pay any more no matter how much money they make, often off the backs of their employees.

But when push came to shove, RoJo showed his true colors again and sided with the rich:

Heritage Foundation Makes Plans to Staff Next G.O.P. Administration

No matter the Republican, the effort has set a goal of up to 20,000 potential officials in a database akin to a right-wing LinkedIn.

Be investigated for sedition. They are active domestic terrorists infiltrating our government to abolish it. When you are elected to office or other government jobs, you are required to give an oath to uphold the Constitution.

If these GOP scumbags are working to tear it down, that would be an enemy of the state, domestic or otherwise, Putin's puppets.

they'd insist on shoring it up.

Without Social Security and Medicare, my husband and I would have had to assume his parents' medical care after strokes and (in her case) Alzheimers.

That or make the unthinkable choice to refuse to pay for their healthcare, lodging, and other expenses in order to meet our own expenses.

It would wipe out generational wealth.
