The upcoming convention hosted by Arizona Universitys College Republicans United promised a dizzying line-up, including headliner white nationalist livestreamer Nick Fuentes, the QAnon Shamanand support from local GOP officialsheld at a three star boutique hotel in a suburb of Phoenix.
But some of those promises are quickly unraveling.
Although a flier this week touted Republican officials from Maricopa, Pima, and Yavapai Counties as the July 30 conventions official supporters, some spokespersons from those organizations claim that they were tricked into supporting an extremist eventothers said they never agreed to participate at all.
